An updated release of MSL40 (version 2) is now available.
A new error correction version of the 2024 ICTV taxonomy is now available online at https://ictv.global/taxonomy. This new version of Master Species List #40v2 is available for download as an Excel Spreadsheet.
The MSL40 release contains taxonomic changes approved by the ICTV Executive Committee in August 2024 and ratified by the ICTV Membership in February 2025.
