Family: Inoviridae
Genus: Psecadovirus
Distinguishing features
Stenotrophomonas phage PSH1 is the only representative of the genus. It was isolated from a Stenotrophomonas maltophilia strain P2 and the virions are 2,100 nm long. The genome consists of 6,867 bases and encodes 10 proteins (Liu et al., 2012).

Biology
Members of the genus infect Stenotrophomonas maltophilia.
Species demarcation criteria
There is only one species in the genus. Members of additional species will be >5% different in the DNA sequence of their genomes as assessed using the BLASTn algorithm.
